New Login System for Members Only Section
TLA recently updated the way you login to the Members Only section. The most notable changes include the use of your email address instead of a username to login and the introduction of a self-service, password reset tool. Improvements have also been made to the Conference Registration System, TLA Award Nominations System, and Tall Texans Application System.
“This experience has changed my outlook on leadership in the context of libraries. This immersion gave me the opportunity of learning from leaders that have been able to achieve goals focused on their community. Thank you!"

“Really grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of the inaugural program. I truly enjoyed Julie's teaching style and the format really allowed me to take in tons of great information. Would highly recommend to my colleagues."

“I came away with more in-depth knowledge about leadership, but also more inspired about our profession and my expertise."

The Texas Library Association proudly announces the inaugural class of the 2016 Executive Leadership Immersion. Fifty-three participants from public, school, academic, and special libraries declared this first-ever immersion a resounding success. The immersion focused both on the unique skill sets and aptitudes needed to lead today's complex organizations and on real world projects drawn from the participants' institutions. Classroom sessions were supplemented by private and group consultations in which facilitator Julie Todaro guided participants through the process of refining and strengthening their work-related projects.

Plans are underway to offer the immersion from July 30 - August 3, 2017 at the Barton Creek Omni in Austin.
