Cw44/Cable 12 worked with a coalition of 12 Bay Area counties in developing a Poison Prevention and Awareness Campaign called GET THE LEAD OUT. CW worked with this group to create a media awareness campaign funded by local sponsors such as the Association of Environmental Contractors, EPA and Radiation Monitoring Devices Inc to fully fund the campaign. Our goal was to increase awareness of lead toxicity in Bay Area homes and ways to avoid poisoning young children through lead abatement.

The benefits of working with CW44/Cable 12 are numerous:

  • We created a multi-platform awareness campaign that included TV and Online


  • We consulted with the Lead Coalition to identify the issues and messaging


  • We funded the campaign through various stake holders including public and private organizations


  • We produced and placed all media involved in the campaign


  • Provided 3rd party, post-campaign analysis through the use of consumer polling to gauge growth in awareness


  • We generated results for and accolades from our partners
