Just when I think I have a handle on what DialedIn is capable of someone will email me their new site and introduce me to a concept or use not previously envisioned. I have now seen business-to-business sites, presentation sites, marketing mini-sites, sites that combine self-branding with company branding, sites for tradeshows centering around data collection and so much more! Some of our new users have taken to the system like a duck to water while others have forged forward with a sheer determination that has quickly turned them into power users. NEW FEATURE You want to call me what?!

Customizable subdirectories are now available! All of your DialedIn URLs now have user and project sub-directories. Translation? DialedIn URLs now appear in this format: www.dialedin.com/[user]/[project name]. For example, I could create a website with the URL www.dialedin.com/roth/portfolio.

NEW FEATURE A quick send off...

We've added a "Send to Others" button in the Email builder. This is basically a shortcut so that once you have finished creating an email you don't have to go into your Project Control Panel to send it. The "Send to Others" button will take you directly to the Send Email page.

NEW FEATURE Streamlining...

In an effort to make things just a little easier and more efficient we have streamlined the process of importing from My Media. When you drag an object onto your canvas and the pop-up editing box appears, once you click on the My Media tab and select an item, the item will now immediately import to your Project Media and then deploy directly onto the page. You'll also notice that when you're building a project and you upload an item, it now immediately deploys onto the page.

TIP Because sometimes size matters...

Did you know you can change the size of your iSpring@reg; presentations? If you want your flash file to be a little bigger or smaller just change the size of your PowerPoint@reg; presentation. Within PowerPoint@reg; go to "Page Setup" and then adjust the height and width of your project (make sure you change them exactly proportionately). Then when you use iSpring@reg; to turn your PowerPoint@reg; presentation into a flash file the size will automatically adjust.

TIP Want to collect media files from the outside world?

CBS San Francisco recently showed us a branded website they created using DialedIn that had an embedded YouSendIt@reg; dropbox. YouSendIt@reg; provided them with the HTML code for the dropbox, or "SiteDrop" as they call it, which they then added to their DialedIn website simply by pasting the code into a text box.
