Welcome to our first newsletter! DialedIn newsletters will be coming out monthly from here on out to keep you, our valuable customers, apprised of all updates and changes to DialedIn's platform. The newsletters will contain information on new features as well as helpful tips and tricks for using the system. NEW FEATURE Nudge, Nudge...

Sometimes you want to place an object "just so" on the canvas and moving it with your mouse seems to get it near where you want it to be, but not quite the right place. Now you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard, instead of dragging the object with the mouse. The arrow keys will "nudge" the object left, right, up or down, one pixel at a time, until you can place it just where you want it. Hold down the Shift-key and the object will move five pixels instead of one.

NEW FEATURE A little guidance please?

Trying to align several objects on your canvas and "eyeballing it" just isn't cutting it. Click on the "Show Guides" button, and then click above the canvas ruler (for a vertical line) or to left of the canvas ruler (for a horizontal line). You can add as many guides as you like. To get rid of a guide, just click on it guide again. To hide all of your guides, simply click "Show Guides" again.

NEW FEATURE Snap to it!

Click on the "Snap To Guides" button to activate this feature. Items released next to a guide will now snap into place along the guide. To turn off the feature, just click on the "Snap To Guides" button again.

TIP Quick tip for sending documents!

Need to send documents or files to someone across town, across the country or around the world? Use the Download Gallery on DialedIn to send documents, images, video and audio files that can be downloaded directly to the recipient's desktop. Not only is this feature great for people who need file sharing capabilities - it also means no more scrambling to get out that last minute FedEx.
