Q: What does DialedIn do? What can I use it for?
A: DialedIn is a state-of-the-art platform for web marketing and publishing. Within each DialedIn account you can create unlimited numbers of:
- Websites
- Mobile Websites
- Emails
- Widgets
Q: Does it cost money to use DialedIn?
A: Yes, there is a competitive monthly fee to use DialedIn. Click here to see pricing and account level options.
Q: Can I get DialedIn to build my websites/mobile websites/rich emails/widgets and manage my account?
A: Yes, DialedIn has a Creative Services department. Click here for more information.
Q: Is there any advertising or DialedIn branding that will appear on my website, mobile website or email messages?
A: No, DialedIn is advertisement free. It is a private label platform where our clients create their own branded environment.
Q: Do I need to download any software in order to access my DialedIn account?
A: No, your DialedIn account is entirely web-based (meaning you will not need to download anything onto your computer’s hard drive), but you will need to have at least Flash Player 9 in order to view pictures and video. DialedIn will work on a PC or Mac as long as you have the Flash Player 9.
Q: What are the web browser requirements for DialedIn?
A: DialedIn has been tested on most web browsers including Internet Explorer (version 6 or higher), Firefox (version 1.5 or higher) and Apple's Safari browser (version 3.0 or higher). We strongly recommend using the most up-to-date version available for your browser.
Q: Is there a manual or user guide for the system?
A: Yes, the User Guide is located in the “Help” section (located at the top right side of you screen). The User Guide also contains a helpful Glossary with explanations and definitions of terms.

User Accounts
Q: Can I trial the system before signing up?
A: Of course! With each trial account you can upload 100 contacts, upload 1 GB of media and send unlimited emails.
Q: Can I sign up for just one month? Can I sign up, unsubscribe and then sign up again to my account when I want to use it again?
A: Yes, there is no minimum monthly subscription and a client can unsubscribe and re-up again as many times as they like.
Q: Can I upgrade or change my account level?
A: Yes, you can upgrade your account at anytime by clicking on “My Account” (make sure you are already logged in) located at the top right side of you screen and then click on the “Your Plan & Fees” tab.
Q: How do I change my credit card information?
A: Make sure you are logged in, and then click on “My Account” located at the top right side of your screen. Then click on the “Your Plan & Fees” tab and scroll to the bottom of the page, check “I would like to change my credit card info” and edit your credit card information. Then click “Change My Plan”.
Q: What do I do if I forgot my password or I want to change my password?
A: From the login page, click "Forgot Password?", enter your email address and we will send you a response email with a link that will allow you to change your password.
Q: How do I import my contacts into the Address Book?
A: You can import your contacts by uploading a CSV File (detailed instructions on how to create a CSV File are located in your Address Book next to the “Import from CSV File” button). You can also enter contacts manually.

Q: Is my information safe?
A: Your privacy is very important to us. We do not share ANY information, email addresses, your home address, credit card information, or any other details nor do we have any business affiliates, advertisements, banners, etc. We will never sell your personal information to a third party.

Project Creation
Q: Are there any file size or format restrictions on media and document uploads?
A: While there are not any size restrictions in regards to media files (so long as you do not surpass the media storage limits for your account level), DialedIn’s system supports images that have been created in a .gif, .jpg or .png file format, videos in a .wmv, .mov or .avi format, audio in MP3 format and attachments in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, .pdf, or zip format.
Q: Are there any restrictions in where I place the drag and drop items when creating my website, mobile website, email or widget?
A: There are no restrictions on the placement of drag and drop items. DialedIn’s platform was designed to function as a canvas, so the user has full control over where each item is placed.
Q: Can I incorporate HTML code or external widgets into the website, mobile website, or email canvas?
A: Yes, drag a Text Box onto the canvas and enter your HTML code or widget code and then save. When you “Preview” the code will render.
Q: Can I re-use certain aspects, like media attachments, or a template I created for a project?
A: Yes! All of your media and projects are stored in your account so you can re-use an entire template or pick certain items to re-use; to do this click the "Use Existing Project" button on your Master Control Panel.
Q: What types of viewer statistics are available?
A: In your Project Control Panel in the Monitor box under the heading “Views”, DialedIn provides statistics on the number of times visitors have clicked on your Website and Mobile website. Also, if you send an Email to recipients you can track statistics on email opens and related website views, photo gallery views, document downloads (and the number of times) and video views.
Q: If I send an email through DialedIn, how will it appear in the recipients’ inbox?
A: When the recipients check their email inbox the email will appear to come from your registered email at DialedIn. If you wish a different email address to appear in the recipients’ inbox you can change your email address under “Sender Email” within the “Communications” sub-tab within the “Configure” tab for that project.
Q: What if I want to change something on my website or mobile website?
A: Any changes or updates you make and save will be executed real-time.
Q: How long does it take to deliver messages?
A: Messages are typically delivered in less than a minute. Occasionally (depending on various reasons) it will take a few minutes longer.
Technical Issues
A: DialedIn supports the video formats listed below. Upon successful upload, your video content will be converted on our server to MPEG-4 format for playback through the system. A thumbnail is also automatically generated.
Note that even if your video format is listed above, there may still be technical issues with converting it for playback, due to
how the video was generated or possibly if the transfer experienced a problem during transmission (not unheard of for very large
files such as video). When in doubt, try converting the video to another format on your desktop machine before upload, or test out
a smaller video file of the same format.
